A delegation from the Public Relations specialization within the Mass Communication Program at Fujairah University visited the Federal National Council (FNC) headquarters in Abu Dhabi on Monday, October 27, 2025, to learn about the UAE’s parliamentary experience and its significant role in national development.
The visit program included an introductory session that highlighted the FNC’s legislative and oversight functions, as well as its contribution to supporting the comprehensive development process in the UAE. It also featured a practical workshop for students on modern trends in public relations and protocol, organized as part of the program’s experiential training activities aimed at connecting students with real-world professional environments, enhancing their engagement with experts and specialists in public relations and protocol, and developing their professional skills and readiness for the labor market.
The delegation also toured the FNC Museum, which displays historical documents and photographs chronicling the Council’s journey since its establishment in 1972, showcasing the evolution of parliamentary life in the UAE through its successive legislative terms.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation expressed its appreciation to Ms. Maryam Abdul Kareem, Director of Sessions and Committees Department; Mr. Badr Al Marri, Senior Specialist at the Protocol Department; and Mr. Hamid Al Alili from the Partnerships and Events Department, for their warm hospitality and excellent organization, which provided students with a valuable and inspiring educational experience.
